I'm currently working on the framework for this calendar project, and have a "working" demo available at jQcal.com

This is definitely in a development phase, concentrating mostly on CSS/XHTML layout with the included jQuery functionality. Once these features are pretty much in place, I will being work on actually implementing a simple event backend to save and edit events.
