WEB DEVELOPER - BRISTOL

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and innovative senior web developer, with at least 3 years commercial web developing experience.

You should have a good track record of leading a team of web developers in providing creative, online development solutions.

You will be responsible for:-

Supporting the design and brand requirements across 20 magazine websites
Providing ongoing web development technical support to the Online and publishing teams in the creation of dynamic sites.
You should be able to challenge other members of the web development team to proactively provide ideas and solutions towards the improvement of the sites and the business, managing the process of innovative change.

The ideal candidate should have the following knowledge and experience:

Working with ASP, PHP, CSS and XHTML
Working with MYSQL and Microsoft SQL server database.
Experience of commercial content management systems, eg Drupal, Joomla.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage project schedules
Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
Be proactive and able to act on your own initiative
