Weekend Project: Resume Update
This weekend, I decided it was time to update my resume again. I had recently created a new version of my online resume at JakeStrawn.com with a huge visual upgrade. At the time however, I only had a single day to work on the project, and didn't have time to update the content of the resume at the moment, so some old text went into it's place, and did the trick for a short while.
Since I'm focusing on trying to find employment in the European Union, I felt it was high time that the content was updated.
In addition to the online updates, I've included versions for downloading as well. I have two main versions, one for general viewing purposes, and another that is less ink intensive for printing purposes. There is also general "about me" data available in another supplemental download.
I will be working shortly using the Acrobat 9 portfolio tool to create an interactive portfolio capable of being downloaded and viewed offline. Completing this portion will allow for a very comprehensive package to be easily distributed via download or through email to promote myself as I pursue further career opportunities.
Now the interesting part will be finding an employer in the EU that will be willing to help with a work visa so that I can head to Europe, and immerse myself in a completely different culture that any I've ever known.

Quick resposes to resume
It's amazing how quickly Denver area people seemt to jump on my resume updates. I've had over half a dozen responses from head hunters in the Denver area regarding positions available here locally.
Now all I need is the same response from overseas, and I'm golden!!
