I've spent a good deal of time contemplating my future, and after some careful consideration, I've come to the conclusion that I really need to take a big chance for once, and make plans, and bring to fruition something I would have never considered before.

Luckily with my mode of work, I can work from anywhere, anytime, and accomplish the same thing. I can sit in my dark dungeon of an office, or I could sit at a Starbucks, OR, why the hell couldn't I sit at a coffee shop in Amsterdam, or London, or Paris, or Rome??

That's the driving question that has really made me decide, "screw it", I really don't like this country much anyway, and would enjoy getting some traveling in before I'm an old fart, so why not plan on living abroad for the next decade or so?

In a nutshell, that's my plan. I'm working on my documentation at the moment, and will be doing much more research on the various places I'm interested in, as far as work permits, cost of living, etc. in order to get the best plan possible, and make sure I save up enough cash to cross the Atlantic, and be set for a while until I can get situated in a new country.

Europe, here I come!

As this idea/plan evolves, I will be using this blog as a place to discuss that, and after I'm there, it'll become my place to talk about all the great things I come across in a land far, far away.
