I've just added several items to the Omega theme issue queue in order to document the planned features as I discussed at Drupalcamp Montreal.

• Custom Layout Configuration based on node->type (#614412)
• Custom Layout Configuration based  on path (#614416)
• Custom Layout Configuration based on Context (#614422)
• Priority levels for layout overrides (#614438)
• Saving "Grid Templates" (#614440)
• Views integration for grid views layouts (#614442)

Further features are planned for the Omega theme, but are not on this list of high priority items, and may not be released until Drupal 7 depending on time frames of that release, and the time to port the Omega theme to Drupal 7.

The issues submitted are brief on description at the moment, and I will update each of those with a clear definition of the task as they come onto the plate for development. They have mainly been submitted for archival purposes of the direction of the project, and to gather further feedback from anyone browsing the issue queue.
