I've been a bit quiet this week as I've been busy at work putting together the Omega theme for Drupal.
The Omega theme, and the helper module, Omega tools (Optional) provide an advanced theme building experience to allow for a ton of customizations from the theme settings page. The theme combines some great features from popular starter themes.
The current version I have in development is stable for the most part, and I'm currently finalizing the sub-theme structure, and how all the sub themes will talk to Omega.
For now, without any comprehensive feature list, I will just post some screenies of my development site using the Omega theme. You can see from the 2nd theme settings page screenshot all of the currenly built in settings available on the theme level.
I will start posting more as it becomes more complete. I will be working out some documentation as I go as well, and will be launching a site just for the demo of the theme, and probably host documentation there as well.

Omega Theme
Very Nice!!!! I love it. Will be looking out for updates on this.
Nice integration
I will likely use this for my next site. I love 960gs in combo with 960gridder and this seems to cover both.
Keep up the awesome work Jake!
It's almost ready...
That's awesome!
The theme is "about" ready for a BETA type, semi-stable release. I really just need to make sure my theme settings are working properly on the subtheme level (which they appear to be) and make sure there will be no further major changes to the core functionality.
This theme takes some great pieces from some great themes, and I'm hoping that I can in a later 2.x version, or at the very least for D7, make a very advanced grid builder/manager similar to the block management page (taking over the theme) and allowing live element sizing. Right now it's just a series of select menus to control the width of elements.
Hopefully I can release it ast BETA or an initial stable release by this coming weekend!!

Just checking up on Omega
I'm really loving what I see. Can't wait until the release. Absolutely Fabulous. I'm currently using Blueprint and would really love to test this one out.
